About the Job The Senior Project Manager, Development Lifecycle Team, is part of the Development Lifecycle Program Team and is responsible for the planning and execution of product development projects that add new products and features to FMI's portfolio. The incumbent is responsible for planning, leading, and executing projects to provide best-in-class support and deliverables. The Senior Project Manager also works with functional managers to identify & resolve resource requirements. The position is highly cross-functional and visible within the R&D team and across FMI. This is a regulated position and additional information may be available from QA on the qualifications for this role pertaining to regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities o Project Management:
o Lead project through the entire project management lifecycle, ensuring all project work is completed according to scope, schedule and budget. o Ensure project resources are secured; manage project resource plans to assure project is not delayed due to resource contention. o Identify, prioritize and mitigate project risks. o Manage project scope change management. o Develop and implement project plan, including cost, scope, schedule, risk, resource and communications plans. o Build team ownership and commitment to project plans. o Provide structured thinking to project team on overall approach and delegate tasks as appropriate. o Guide the team in appropriate decision-making through analyzing options and reviewing implications with the team; make decisions pertinent to the project as needed. o Communications and Reviews:
o Be responsible for team and cross-functional communications (written and oral). o Act as liaison between the project team and FMI governance (Portfolio Governance Committee and the Executive Team) as required. o Define and track key project metrics; coordinate and guide project phase reviews on metrics. o Elevate critical business decisions to the appropriate committees, management teams or functional managers. o Relationship Management:
o Provide input to functional leaders on team and team member performance. o Develop and maintain strong relationships with functional leaders to drive success of projects and teams. o Influence cross-functional collaboration for the purpose of achieving optimal project outcomes. o Team Management:
o Lead a team of cross-functional representatives in the achievement of organizational goals. o Influence in a complex, matrixed environment, for optimal project outcomes. o Foster a team environment that enables all participants to contribute their full potential in pursuit of project objectives. o Monitor and ensure compliance with product development processes and procedures o Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications o Bachelor's Degree o 5
years of experience in a program or project management role Preferred Qualifications o Graduate Degree or advanced project management certification (PgMP, PMP) o Working knowledge of FDA, ISO, CLIA and CAP regulations o Portfolio of leading international and/or distributed large scale product development projects utilizing project management and product design & development frameworks o Demonstrated success with managing projects supporting medical device or drug development o Prior
Experience:
with intercultural teams using project management tools involving FDA regulated products coordinating program details across disciplines and integrating all aspects of business as they impact development projects with Waterfall and Agile methodologies working within deadline and resource constraints managing program scope, roles and responsibilities, specifications, timelines, and resources in a highly independent position presenting and communicating with all levels of an organization, as well as with external customers o Ability to adapt and work in ambiguous and/or changing conditions o Proficiency in program/project management skills and principles, including scope, schedule, resource and risk management o Effective and clear communication and presentation skills o Demonstrated negotiation and conflict management skills o Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of patient data privacy o Commitment to reflect FMI's values:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
