Job-Specific Responsibilities The SHARE Counselor & Community Engagement Specialist reports to the SHARE Senior Clinical Services Coordinator, as part of the University Office for Gender Equity (OGE). Direct Services In their capacity as a SHARE Counselor, the person in this position acts as a direct service provider. Serving as a SHARE Counselor, this person will work directly with students, staff, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows who have experienced or witnessed interpersonal violence or harm. Direct services include, but are not limited to:
Provides trauma-informed crisis counseling and advocacy, including psychological first aid, explores available options, and refers, as appropriate Accompanies, navigates, and coordinates campus and community resources Develops and facilitates support, psychoeducational, and task groups through the University utilizing a culturally responsive, intersectional lens Covers 24/7 SHARE confidential hotline, including support for callers, referrals, development of safety plans, identifications of safety risks, and documentation of services provided Utilizes internal data management system and applicable technologies to conduct and document work Complies with all applicable state laws, federal regulations, and University policies, procedures, and protocols, including those relating to confidentiality, and mandated reporting requirements Community Engagement and Assessment In their capacity as a Community Engagement Specialist, this person in this position works closely with the OGE staff and community partners, including School and unit resources, to advance the work of the SHARE team and OGE. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implements new and emerging comprehensive, inclusive community engagement strategies with a particular focus on increasing resilience and protective factors for promoting community well-being and violence prevention utilizing an intersectional lens Builds relationships with University and community partners, including School and unit resources to advance the work of the SHARE team and OGE, including attending meetings, committees, workgroups, and coalitions as needed Collaborates with the SHARE Counselor & Prevention Specialist to strategize on outreach, partnership development, and communication. Engages in program evaluation, including methods designs, data collection, data analysis, and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of prevention, engagement, and awareness programming, developing qualitative and quantitative methods and instruments. Makes data-driven recommendations for addressing gaps and developing new approaches. Provides co-facilitation, as needed, for SHARE educational workshops, training, education, and outreach activities as needed. Supports the planning and execution of community and internal events Co-develops and maintain ongoing management of a case management electronic tracking system and alerts the SHARE Senior Clinical Services Coordinator regarding trends, in addition to overall statistics. Reviews analyze, and reports on changes in federal, state, and local regulations, legislation, and policies related to interpersonal violence; works collaboratively with the SHARE Senior Clinical Services Coordinator to adapt and integrate these changes within the SHARE team. Compliance Adheres to the expectations, professional responsibilities, standards, practices, and procedures of OGE, Harvard University Health Services (HUHS), and the University. Completes and complies with all HUHS training requirements including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. Typical Core Duties Conduct psychosocial assessments in order to develop a comprehensive out-patient care plan that guides work with the patient Provide supportive counseling to patients and families to enhance coping skills and resolve concerns Facilitate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, collaboration, and referral of patients for appropriate care Provide timely and appropriate documentation in patient's medical file Collaborate with physicians, nurses, support staff, community agencies, and other health care professionals to implement safe, effective and timely patient care Communicate with treating clinicians on areas of concern; provide clinical updates to clinicians on a regular basis Facilitate trainings on working with clients, safety planning, suicide assessment and other topics Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures and applicable legal rules and regulations Basic Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience Additional Qualifications and Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate Excel skills Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills Certificates and Licenses Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with current Massachusetts license Working Conditions Travel may be required May be required to work nights and weekends Additional Information PLEASE NOTE:
During the current period of Covid-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote or hybrid position, with the transition to onsite in Cambridge when the office reopens. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Administrative & OfficeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
