Opportunity at a Glance The Instructional Designer gathers information from external and internal subject matter experts and uses it to build business process training courses. Project types and topics will continually evolve and are usually outside the personal skillset or experience of this position. Commonly, the Instructional Designer will help build a team and then manage the project, including the work of others who feed into or depend on output from this position. Responsibilities Market and content research Assist product manager in identifying market opportunities Identify and build relationships with industry Subject Matter Experts. Work with SMEs and identify the KSAs required for success in a specific learner context Courseware development Work with SMEs, organize KSAs into efficient, coherent, strategic, and time-based outlines Guide and coordinate SMEs as they provide content for those outlines Research to fill gaps or validate SME content Edit and convert SME content into learning objects Build supporting forms, tools, objects, etc., in various authorware platforms Guide multimedia producer Guide showrunners Coordinate product edit reviews, testing, and revisions Support the archiving of courseware, source files, and documentation Sales and marketing support Provide content for sales education and promotion Qualifications 5 years of developing adult learning, business process training in multiple delivery formats 5 years of identifying, securing, and managing external and internal resources Variable-compensated consulting or self-employment a plus Portfolio available for review by ACAMS Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree or related certification is a plus AML experience not required but a huge plus Keen attention to detail Ability to understand the gist of a topic being discussed for the first time, enough to develop a plan for coordinating content from SMEs into a training course. The SME teaches the ID, then the ID teaches the learner. Focused on Return On Investment (Can do a lot with a little. Knows where to invest.) Self-motivated, self-managing with remote supervisor Experience in learning object design--especially discrete and reusable objects Experience designing once for use in multiple formats Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (especially with SMEs who are often senior managers at customer organizations) Research, cold calling, and negotiation skills Ability to forecast costs of manufacturing and delivering the products being developed General technical skills and aptitude, being a quick self-learner of all the technology ACAMS uses now (including Xyleme, MS Office, Webex, Monday, SmartSheet, LMS, Salesforce, ACAMS.org, etc.) and in the future. Strong instructional design and adult learning philosophies Concise, clear writing style Ability to design for multinational audiences Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and meet deadlines Fluency in English required and fluency in any of these languages a plus (Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese - simplified, Chinese - traditional, French, German, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish) Ability to occasionally travel globally a plus.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Organization Development & TrainingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
