Sr. Research Manager

Job Summary The Senior Research Manager will be part of a team associated with an online intercultural platform and research project called Out of Eden Learn (OOEL) at Project Zero, at HGSE. This project is in its ninth year and is in a transitional phase as the National Geographic Society (NGS) prepares to take over the running of the platform and the team at Project Zero distills key findings from the project. OOEL is looking to hire a talented Senior Research Manager to contribute to new and ongoing data analyses. The work includes proposing and executing both quantitative and qualitative analyses of collected data comprising a vast amount of multimedia student work and discussion threads on the platform, as well as student and teacher survey responses and interview transcripts. Job-Specific Responsibilities Key responsibilities will include:
Directs data management, including design and implementation of strategy for platform data storage, cleaning, and analysis. Data include multimedia student work, comment threads, and participant demographics/statistics. Leads mixed methods research strand involving quantitative and qualitative analyses of platform data; develops solutions to methodological and analysis challenges within the research team. Conducts presentations and produces reports and publications for diverse audiences; Works with PIs to write grants, budgets, and reports to funders. Supervises and serves as a mentor for administrative staff and research assistants. Manages the project calendar and communications with partner organization (NGS) to keep the project on schedule and to coordinate various events and meeting times. Collaborates with team members to help ensure the maintenance and usability of the Out of Eden Learn platform, including helping with the transition of the OOEL program to NGS. This is a term position with an end date of 6/30/22 with likelihood of continuation. Basic Qualifications Master's in Education required. A minimum of 3 years of research experiencerequired. Additional Qualifications and Skills Doctorate in Education strongly preferred. Experience designing and leading workshops and professional development for teachers and administrators. Experience with helping educators adapt Project Zero (or related) ideas to a range of settings and grade-levels. Strong presentation skills. Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Life Sciences, Other SciencesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
