Job Summary The Senior Software Engineer is a member of the ITS Business Solutions team at Harvard Law School, leading and developing full-lifecycle solutions targeting areas such as Admissions, Student Services, and Executive Education. The successful candidate will thrive in a nimble, Agile development environment, enjoy working directly with our business partners, and be comfortable moving between technologies based on business requirements and emerging trends. Job-Specific Responsibilities As a Senior Software Engineer at Harvard Law School you will have the opportunity to:
Guide clients in determining practical, innovative, and reliable solutions to meet their business needs Provide technical guidance to project teams, utilizing Agile, rapid development processes Design and build integrations between systems Identify and drive opportunities to improve services Engage with vendors to guide feature implementations, and to resolve issues Contribute to Agile Scrum ceremonies, such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Collaborate on the implementation of coding best practices and new technologies Basic Qualifications Minimum of five years' post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience Additional Qualifications and Skills Minimum of seven years of software development work experience preferred Experience with React/Node highly desirable Proficiency in a variety of languages and design patterns Ability to contribute to architectural decisions Experience developing structured tests to support QA processes Comfortable organizing, managing, and prioritizing your own time and tasks Able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences Motivated by helping your team to succeed Additional Information The responsibilities of this position can be performed 100% remotely and candidates residing outside of the local area, but within the United States, are encouraged to apply. If the successful candidate resides outside of a state in which Harvard is registered to do business (CA, CT, MA, MD, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT), the individual will become an employee of a third party external payrolling company rather than Harvard University. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & Engineering, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
