This impactful generalist role consists of benefits management and administration, payroll, on-boarding, off-boarding, professional development opportunities, and other operational responsibilities, as needed.
As a key leader of the HR function in Boston of a global organization, this person will help shape the strategy around benefits, wellness, community involvement, DEIB, internship program, and much more.

Duties and Responsibilities Manages the company's benefits programs, including strategy, administration, and partnering with benefits brokers and vendors.
Provides support and guidance to colleagues when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances.
Works closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy with the internal payroll process.
Manage HR Benefits and Payroll portals, updating when necessary Leading Open Enrollment prep and execution Aids in talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Helps shape the culture of the office, including DEIB programming, internship development, and other initiatives that will continue to evolve.

Other attributes or qualifications Financial or Pharmaceutical professional background is a plus Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required A minimum of five years of Human Resources experience preferred Must be comfortable with being present in office.
Familiarity with ADP, payroll and HR management portal Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
