Job TitleSoftware Development and AI Engineer - Patient MonitoringJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team to design and develop electrocardiography monitoring algorithms for medical devices.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for building robust and scalable software.
As part of your role, you will be involved in analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, integrating, and continuously improving the algorithm software.
You will work closely with algorithm/data scientists in the team to translate signal processing and machine learning innovations into product-quality code, helping Philips maintain its global market leadership in patient monitoring.
The Data and AI R&D team of Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring business.
Our team has the mission to transform patient data into clinical information to help improve and save lives.
The team has a very high impact as it develops patient monitoring algorithms in electrocardiography and hemodynamics that are used to monitor hundreds of millions of hospital patients globally every year.
You are responsible for:
Develop/refactor physiological monitoring algorithms (e.
g.
ECG) Write clean, efficient and easy maintainable code adhering to coding guidelines Productize algorithm prototypes developed by algorithm/data scientists Incorporate new functional modules into existing or new algorithm software Define interfaces and requirements for integrating algorithms into host devices/platforms Integrate algorithms into various Philips host devices/platforms Develop and deploy machine learning models to production Incorporate software best practices in team's Data Science projects Document manage and define requirements, design documents and verification procedures Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and testing To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field 3-5 years industry experience in software engineering Knowledge and extensive experience with C/C++/Python for products Experienced in embedded software development and object-oriented programming Proficiency with source control workflows (Git, Github) Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit Team working and good communication skills including fluency in English About PhilipsWe are a health technology company.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
