Description Position at EF Gap Year EF Gap Year (a division of EF Education First) is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and innovative Digital Marketing Specialist with loads of entrepreneurial spirit to join our Boston-based marketing team.
In this very hands-on role, you'll be a go-to person for all things paid digital - helping to create and optimize the PPC ads and strategies to help grow this rapidly expanding business within the EF family.
Every day you'll collaborate with the creative, marketing, and sales teams - as well as peers across the organization - to find new and innovative ways to bring the EF Gap Year experience to students around the country through our paid digital channels.
You'll create and manage our digital ads buys on Facebook, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and wherever else the opportunity may arise.
You'll tinker with landing pages, find and test new channels, pour over spreadsheets, and seek any performance advantage you can find.
You'll regularly brainstorm new ideas with the team, turning those ideas into smart strategies and those smart strategies into actionable plans that you'll then roll up your sleeves to execute.

More specifically you will Help manage and optimize our Facebook, Google AdWords, and other digital ad buys Create and share regular performance reports that help our team make decisions Work with the marketing and sales teams to devise and implement digital strategies that improve business results Liaise with external digital vendors and partners, keeping those relationships sharp QA test and troubleshoot changes and issues, ensuring that our digital ad buys and marketing systems are always running smoothly Implement tracking codes/pixels/strategies that help keep us smart and on top of our digital marketing performance Explore and pursue new traffic and growth sources, testing and refining our digital marketing plan on an ongoing basis Brainstorm new campaign and engagement ideas that will help drive interest in EF Gap Year programs Who you are:
2-3 years of experience working in a digital marketing role at an agency, consumer brand, or high-growth startup Hands-on experience setting up, managing, and optimizing ads on Facebook, TikTok, Google, and other digital channels An understanding of full-funnel messaging and re-marketing A desire to work with creative partners to craft compelling campaign assets Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and web/campaign tracking best-practices A can-do attitude and a willingness to seek answers and push past obstacles An ability to generate ideas and work independently A solid understanding of conversion-improvement tactics, A/B testing approaches, and landing page optimization A desire to work in a small entrepreneurial team environment Experience with platforms like Salesforce or Iterable is a big bonus Why you'll love working here:
