Overview:
We are seeking college students who would like to work part-time as a lab technician in the pharmaceutical industry! This is a great chance to gain some experience.
You would be assisting with important tasks assisting with a scientific research team.
This position is designed for the purpose of sample management, and it is a part time position working 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Receiving, sorting, and storing the samples for testing.
Receiving lab supplies, preparing reagents, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
The lab is receiving several hundreds to thousands frozen tissue sections from preclinical animal studies (rodent, NHP).
Some of these sample would be used for RNA/protein analysis, some would be stored in the -80C freezer.
Those stored samples may also need to be retrieved for analysis or transfer.
All the activities surrounding the sample would also be recorded electronically.
Requirements:
Associate degree Required Good understanding/course work about animal/human anatomy (neuronal in particular) is preferred.
College students are encouraged to apply.
Comments/Special Instructions This position is going to handle rodent and non-human primate tissues and it will require a HepB immunization/titer test.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
