$140,000 Position Overview - Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting Our client is a rapidly growing startup with a focus on innovation and cutting-edge technologies.
They are seeking a motivated Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to join their team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the financial success of the company.
Location:
Boston, MA - Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home) Compensation:
$140,000.

bonus Responsibilities as the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting include:
Execute month-end closing tasks for revenue with accuracy and adherence to closing schedules Ensure revenue recognition for customer contracts complies with company policies Build and maintain a revenue model to support revenue recognition for significant contracts Collaborate with relevant teams to assess contract milestones, pricing, timelines, and project projections Prepare monthly management reports to highlight critical outcomes and offer explanations to senior management Drive improvements in the overall revenue cycle by working collaboratively with various departments Partner with FP&A for the annual budgeting process related to revenue-generating activities Support short-term and long-term forecasting processes, including revenue analysis at multiple levels Establish and maintain analysis and support for independent selling prices and the allocation of transaction prices Work with the technical accounting team to document revenue policies, procedures, and accounting documentation specific to deals Assist with interim reviews and annual external audits Play a key role within the SOX implementation team, focusing on risk assessment, critical controls, documentation, and testing Requirements/
