REQUIRED:
bachelor's degree; four years' relevant experience, including corporate relations; knowledge of the principles, concepts, and best practices of industry relations; financial experience; proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience developing effective communication and outreach strategies; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues; and ability to move items weighing over 10 lbs.

10/6/23CONSORTIUM/PROGRAM MANAGE, Microsystems Technology Laboratories (MTL), to facilitate productive, growing relationships between MTL and its industry consortium, the Microsystems Industrial Group (MIG), consisting of corporate and industry member organizations from the U.
S.
and abroad.
Will manage a portfolio of member organizations and develop an understanding of their strategic technology and business challenges; maintain knowledge of MIT research/activities/resources and accurately match them to the needs of member companies; maintain productive relationships and encourage collaboration with MIT departments/laboratories/faculty; identify new opportunities for company-MIT interaction and collaboration; plan and execute company-specific meetings/events with MIT faculty; proactively identify and bring developments and opportunities of potential value to the attention of member contacts; handle MTL financial operations associated with the MIG and other discretionary revenue and expenses; and partner with key Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) staff for ongoing strategic planning to ensure the RLE-MTL administrative integration remains on track.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
