About Us In 1929, Nubar Hintlian founded Superior Nut Company in the basement of a movie theater in Somerville, MA.
He roasted a small quantity of nuts at night and sold them during the day to retail stores.
During the late 1930s, the Company grew and moved its operations to a small two-story building in Charlestown, MA.
Its line of customers expanded to grocery stores, ice cream makers, and candy stores.
In 1950 the Company grew into a 5-story building in downtown Boston, MA and later to its current location in Cambridge, MA 1979.

Overview Customer Service/Administration Assistant's primary objective is to handle and support a variety of customer-focused and administrative tasks.
As a leader within the Company, you will be expected to take an active role in supporting web-based, wholesale, and retail customers to address and resolve their needs and to assist and support the sales, management, and office teams.
You will work closely with the store manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The perfect candidate will be detail-oriented, stable, team-oriented, have a cooperative and collaborative focus.
Customer Service/Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
Addressing and answering customer questions; troubleshooting and solving problems; scheduling appointments; preparing reports; communication by face-to-face, email, telephone, in-person, and chat; greet and help customers and visitors both on the phone and in-person; helping to stock and update retail store entering and processing orders and customer data in ERP systems; creating, organizing, preparing, typing, and filing various documents and reports, including customer correspondence; supporting web-based, wholesale and retail customers to address and resolve their needs; assist and support the sales, management, and office teams; filling sample requests and helping create prototype items update and help maintain social media organized, goal-oriented, and takes initiative to follow through with action; and other administrative functions as assigned.

Experience:
Associate degree (required); Bachelor's degree (preferred); minimum work experience in retail sales, customer service, or other relevant experience of two years (required); minimum data entry experience of one year (preferred); experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, ERP, and customer service systems; stable work history; experience with Microsoft NAV ERP system (a plus); ability to successfully multi-task and communicate effectively; desire to learn new systems and utilize them competently; and strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a willingness to help in a team environment.
