Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Usability Researcher to join their team for a remote position. This role will help build a new experience for the client that helps companies and their employees manage hybrid workplaces and the experiences that come with it. This resource will work closely with other user researchers, planners, and program managers to ensure the most critical needs and opportunities are being addressed.
Duties and
Responsibilities:

  • Define UX approaches, metrics, and work with others on research planning
  • Innovate and develop new approaches to measure user's experiences
  • Execute impactful research plan(s) that provide the broad market views and deep customer insights needed to inform the product making process
  • Derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data, complementing other research that the researcher will conduct on their own or in partnership with other researchers
  • Continuously inform an engineering roadmap using customer data (qualitative and quantitative). Key to this accountability will be identifying gaps and customer pain points, as well as potential customer delighters
  • Land impact broadly from customer-focused knowledge by working across engineering, design, and marketing disciplines

Skills and
Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in HCI (human-computer interaction), market research, human factors, psychology, or a related field with a strong emphasis on research techniques and understanding humans / designing technology to meet their needs, or a BA / BS in one of these fields with significant industry experience
  • Minimum 8
    years of hands-on research and / or product planning experience, with demonstrated skill in collecting and analyzing human behavioral data to improve plans and UX in a technology industry setting
  • Strong research, storytelling, and organization skills, and the competence to work across teams
  • Expert knowledge of UX research methods
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment and problem solving with effective task delegation and coordination
  • Ability to interpret data sets and read statistical information
  • Ability to turn qualitative research into a report
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Adept at storytelling to land research insights and recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
