Description
Working as a key member of the Hardware Engineering team, you will be involved in all aspects of the power management product development including: simulation, design, layout, design verification and introduction into manufacturing. In this
position
you will work closely with other hardware, system engineers. This position is for an engineer who enjoys working hands on all aspects of product delivery and delivering solutions at the highest performance level.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
Participate in the design and develop of high performance power management (PM) circuits, modules and IC's.
Perform all phases of PM hardware development including design, component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, BOM creation, test and debug.
Design for manufacture of commercial PM modules and IC's
Perform measurements and characterization of components, circuits and complete products
Create detailed test plans
Demonstrated ability to work well within a cross-functional team
Adhere to aggressive deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
MSEE / BSEE
Proven track record of 1-3 years, designing, building, and testing system and board level hardware, modules and IC's
Sound understanding of power management circuits
Wireless communication experience, including LTE, 3GPP, or OFDM a plus.
Hands-on experience with automated testing and programming methods.
Exceptional organizational skills: planning, follow-through, ability to manage details.
Ability to learn and explore new technology areas and applications in a start-up environment
