Eta Devices is a fast track fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Cambridge, MA with an R&D office in Stockholm, Sweden. Based on groundbreaking research from MIT, the company has assembled the best minds in the industry to realize breakthrough performance gains in the efficiency of power amplifiers for mobile base stations and handsets.
The founders of Eta Devices include two MIT electrical engineering professors and a former lead power amplifier (PA) researcher at both Ericsson and Huawei. The game-changing technology developed by Eta Devices solves the fundamental trade-off between power efficiency and linearity to currently deliver 70%+ efficiency for LTE and WCDMA PAs with a 100% efficiency limit. This brings a range of cost and performance benefits to mobile base station vendors and handset manufacturers. In addition, it significantly lowers the carbon footprint of the mobile industry.
We are backed by leading VCs and have raised two substantial financing rounds to date. Our strong financial backing enables us to focus on long-term growth and value creation rather than chase short-term opportunities.
