Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Job Description: The Manager Financial Planning and Analysis with report to the Director of Finance and will serve as a key financial liaison to leadership. The manager will develop and maintain financial models to support company planning and decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models on a wide range of business operations and important Company initiatives to support company planning and decision-making: budget / forecasts / long range planning / cash flow Coordinate annual operating budgets for the Company and document key underlying assumptions. Analyze actual vs. budget and forecast variances. Investigate unusual and large variance items. Comprehensive P&L management including the analysis of revenues and operating expenses is required Assist in the preparation of quarterly management meetings and Board of Director meetings. Maintain and expand the Hyperion Planning tool to support the needs of Finance and department heads. Demonstrated understanding of fundamental corporate financial relationships (accounting operations, treasury, tax,) Manage the firm's internal enterprise valuation process Provide financial support/analysis to department heads.
Minimum of Bachelor's in Finance or Related discipline. MBA preferred 5 to 8 years' experience in accounting or finance Preferred biotech or pharmaceutical experience Experience in working with complex data and performing financial model and analytics Experience with Oracle and Hyperion (or similar systems) a plus Demonstrated ability to think creatively and proactively
