At NuoDB we're changing how people think about databases. We're building a revolutionary relational database from the ground up. It scales like NoSQL databases but has standard SQL interfaces and is completely transactional. We're looking for a documentation expert to join a very talented team of database innovators.
Overview:
The Documentation Team Lead/Manager is a leader who is interested in collaborating with senior management as an individual contributor and as a Team Lead of the documentation team. This individual will be responsible for managing and contributing to all tasks associated with the documentation functions for the NuoDB product line. His/her primary responsibilities are to ensure adequate creation and maintenance of user-focused documentation to meet company goals and objectives. This person will complete complex tasks, supervise the work of staff, and communicate work progress to top management. The Documentation Manager is expected to rely on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals and perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the job.
Responsibilities:
Contribute writing to the documentation
Oversee all documentation activities within the organization for user-focused documentation.
Work closely with the development team to ensure release notes and user-guides are adequate for user-focused materials
Attend required design review meetings, accurately summarizeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
