About the Job
The IT director will provide the vision, strategic direction, and operational oversight for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that support the growth of iZotope. The purpose of the position is to plan, direct, manage and oversee the IT activities and operations; administer the IT budget, staff and physical facilities of the department, administration and operation of company platforms, strategies and technology; handle network security measures, and implementation of firewalls and modifications of network related infrastructure.
Key tasks of IT Director:
Develop Information Technology strategy in support of the company's mission and core objectives.
Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that the financial targets are met.
Direct the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems.
Defines and seeks approval for the level of IT resources required to meet these goals, and prioritizes and schedules major projects.
Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, finance and operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
Accountable for the management, mentoring and career development of all IT staff.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
