In this exciting role, you will be a key member of an innovative technology development team responsible for the technical analysis, development, and ongoing support of the University HR Systems; a document imaging system, a training and development application and PeopleSoft HCM (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Pension, Time & Labor, Absence Management).
Responsibilities include:
- Performing requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support of new software modules and the enhancement of existing ones.
- Providing 24/7 production support and support ongoing release schedules.
- Contributing equally to the design and development of core architectural components, the development of PeopleSoft modules and the definition of back end database needs.
Basic
Qualifications:
- College degree in computers and technology or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with business owners to clarify project scope and specifications, including providing and evaluating alternative options where appropriate.
- Must be flexible and able to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to independently translate business requirements analysis into technical design specifications and development.
- Experience with full software lifecycle (requirements, analysis, design, construction and testing)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Independent and self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize, take initiative and work well under pressure
Working hours: 9A-5P
Current technical experience to include:
--PeopleSoft HRMS Required, versions 9
desired
--Good working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, PeopleTools 8.52+; Weblogic and Tuxedo
-- 3-5 years of programming experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Business Interlinks, Webservices, XML Publisher and SQR.
-- 3-5 years experience SQL on any database (ORACLE, MSSQL)
-- Development platforms: Windows, Unix, Linux and VMWare.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be committed to producing excellent software, will be a self-starter and will be committed to delivering projects on-time. The demonstrated ability to learn new technologies is highly desirable. The aptitude and desire to be a hands on contributor is essential. Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Desired experience includes web applications development methodologies, project management, object oriented programming, HTML, XML, Java, Javascript, PVCS, COBOL, testing tools (i.e.Load Runner), and query tools. Also knowledge of Internet protocols and standards, Internet software development standards, and web server configuration management

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
