Job Description:
You will architect and implement new data models in physical Oracle RDBMS databases, Essbase cubes, or abstract metalayers and semantic layers.
You will work closely with business partners, initiating and maintaining positive and proactive relationships. You would actively mentor colleagues and customers in business intelligence and data warehousing best practices.
You will also design ETL code to integrate data from enterprise and local sources, populating data warehouse and metadata repository data models, working with other developers to develop and deploy.
Leading small development teams, you will prioritize and manage team members' project assignments and deliverables.
You will optimize query and database performance by applying best practices in database, data model and query tuning techniques.
You will also provide production on-call support for mission critical processes.
Skills Needed:
Extensive Informatica experience (specific experience with version 9 and version 9 deployment groups)
Experience with Oracle 11g
Ability to write efficient and complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries. Need to be able to generate complex queries on the fly.
Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting
Non-Technical Skills:
Solid problem solving skills
Need to be proactive
