A prestigious University has a need for a contract Project Manager to run a project to build an interface between their newly acquired, commercial off the shelf, Conflict of Interest (COI) system with the university's homegrown Grants Management application. Our candidate will need to be hands on, ready to jump in and roll up their sleeves.
It is expected that they will validate the existing assumptions to date, make any necessary recommendations to bring the project back into scope, report out any findings of inaccuracies from the departing PM and communicate any concerns / barriers to success to the appropriate stakeholders.
Candidates need to have demonstrated experience dealing with and leading complex social issues surrounding stakeholders, vendors and the project team.
A strong understanding of core PM methodology, governance, and status reports is a must.
Experience with software development projects and integration with vendor provided systems is a plus. (CIO or Grants management is not a must)
Agile experience is important but not a must.
Strong written and oral communication skills are a must.
