About the Job
Product Operations is seeking an experienced senior advanced analytics analyst to support the product operations organization. This role will support multiple complex products across five diverse business units. The senior advanced analyst will work with the product operations lead and product managers across business units to uncover pricing trends as it relates to the products Akamai sells. He/she will be responsible for working through various data sets to help define pricing scatter plots, product performance and market competitive price points. The pricing analyst will work closely with IT and other cross functional groups to identify requirements for a new pricing UI. The senior advanced analytics analyst will report into the principle pricing analyst.
About the Team
The Akamai Products & Development Group is a team of industry leading professionals dedicated to owning and driving the innovation of digital media, software delivery, application and site acceleration for our customers. Product Operations manages all aspects of the product lifecycle as well as the coordination and delivery of key cross-organizational Strategic Programs. This includes the program definition, prioritization, planning processes, business metrics, and ongoing delivery for these initiatives.
Responsibilities
Use strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data
Develop and implement complex mathematical statistical models on product pricing
Develop pricing scatter plots to show pricing variation across product lines
Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management
Work with product management across business units to develop pricing structure and price point analysis
Share pricing results across IT, Engineering, Finance, Sales and Marketing
Provide pricing analysis support for the pricing rationalization team
Identify current and to-be price points based on historical product data
Perform pricing trend analysis on top revenue products and new product
Conduct analysis to develop a pricing heat map grouping by product type
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management

years of overall work experience in a professional environment
4
years of pricing experience; i.e. experience creating pricing scatter plots or setting up pricing point analysis.
2
years of experience with SQL
Desired Qualifications
Experience data mining large databases
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment.
Experience in business process, operations, and metric definition
Knowledge of high-tech internet industry
Strong analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
Knowledge of product catalog processing and product lifecycle management
Demonstrated success presenting complex findings in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action
Ability to document, plan and track project tasks; ensure accuracy and validation of results produced as a result of data analysis and present finding and recommendations to internal audiences.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and complex pivot tables

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
