Director of Media Relations
Cambridge, Massachusetts
As Director of Media Relations, you will help deliver critical messaging about our client, including the impact the company is having within the oncology space. Your focus will be on successfully harnessing traditional and non-traditional communications methods to support and promote a period of important news and announcements in 2015, and beyond. As an expert communicator, you will effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders on behalf of the company including, but not limited to, third party organizations, patients, internal team members, and local and national media. This role also offers the unprecedented opportunity to work side by side with senior leadership and various departments within the organization, bringing a collaborative approach to cohesive decision-making.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations, and possess 8 or more years relevant experience, with biotech, healthcare or pharmaceutical industries being preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and outstanding presentation capabilities will be the calling card of the ideal candidate. Your background must demonstrate impressive experience leading comprehensive social and digital media strategies and campaigns, accompanied by written and executed media/digital media plans, all within an environment of high science and business needs. You must be able to meet/exceed deadlines and perform with an amazing turnaround. You will be well practiced in working with the media, writing press releases, and project management. Importantly, you must be comfortable with constantly changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. An insatiable desire to constantly learn and innovate will motivate you in this role.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
