Sr. Project Manager, Portfolio
My client is a leading provider of therapeutic treatments that save, sustain and improve the lives of people with rare conditions, chronic diseases or limited treatment options.
Supported by advanced technical and manufacturing expertise, this company has a broad pipeline built on a legacy of innovation in bleeding disorders and immunology and is expanding to address emerging opportunities in niche areas of oncology as well as technology platforms such as Biosimilars.
As they prepare to establish the BioScience business as a separate, publicly traded company, they are seeking to attract, engage and develop the brightest talent with a shared vision of impacting patient lives.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the culture of the new company helping manage our corporate brand identity initiatives.

Responsible for providing leadership in the areas of portfolio management, Decision Analysis, consolidation and analysis of the R&D portfolio and leading strategic projects.
Support implementation of consistent R&D portfolio management practices across new entity.
Consolidate and analyze R&D portfolio strategic and financial information.
Prepare synthesis of key R&D areas and recommendations to senior management.
Continuously improve project valuation guidelines and drive implementation.
Collaborate with business partners to continuously improve process links between Long Range Plan, R&D prioritization, and Operating Plan.
Provide Decision Analysis support to R&D project teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in marketing, finance or science/technology, MBA required.
Seven or more years of business experience.
Strong leadership and influencing skills, and ability to work in highly matrixed, consensus-drive organization.
Strong analytical capabilities, including quantitative and qualitative assessment skills and critical thinking skills.
Advanced financial valuation experience.
Decision Analysis experience preferred.
Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Solid process and project management skills.
Excellent computer skills, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
A diversified company with a broad global footprint built around fluid systems, BioPharma Solutions, renal (including the recently acquired Gambro), as well as nutritional therapies, inhalation anesthetics and biosurgery products.
This business will be focused on developing new healthcare solutions in hospital, in-center and home based therapies.
