A world-renown computer firm in Cambridge is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director of their regional labs. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Managing Director to best support and coordinate their busy schedule. Must have a Bachelor's degree and 6
years of experience supporting a senior level executive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is driven, pays great attention to detail, has outstanding project and time management skills, and can work calmly through high-pressured situations. $70,000+, benefits; growth potential!
Salary range is not a guarantee of the final salary offer. Offers are based on a variety of factors, including work and industry specific experience, education, salary history, etc.
Responsibilities:
o Manage calendar (day-to-day, fiscal year planning, and time management), resulting in the executive staying focused on her business priorities, working efficiently and ensuring she is fully prepared and on-time for appointments.
o Understand the Director's priorities in order to request, accept, reschedule and decline meetings as appropriate.
o Plan and coordinate domestic and international trips by anticipating any and all logistics and itineraries, as well as reconciling and submitting expense reports to the Deputy Managing Director. There are about 60 trips that require planning annually.
o Represent the Director professionally by effectively communicating on her behalf with others including: those within the company; those in the academic community; representatives of advisory boards; and coordinators for external speaking engagements.
o Daily touch base with the Director regarding not only open action item management but also high-level expectations of each other. This also involves screening and flagging the Director's email for unsolicited requests that require action.
o Team with the Lab's Business Manager and other operations staff to coordinate lab-wide governance, communications, meetings, etc.
o Must be available to respond to critical requests and emails outside of core work hours.
o Other responsibilities that may be either owned directly or supervised by the EA may include tracking and routing hundreds of letters of reference requests the director receives annually, calendar management for the Deputy Managing Director and event support
Requirements:
o Has 6
years of experience in supporting a senior level executive in a fast-paced environment, understanding the executive's needs, and making appropriate decisions and requests on behalf of the executive
o Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
