Career Development Advisor
The Opportunity
Career Development Advisors (CDA) prepare emerging executives for the world stage and capture each student's vision, passion and purpose in their quest for meaningful work. Each CDA manages a cohort of students to whom they deliver career coaching and advising as well as instruction on career development fundamentals. The CDA will manage a caseload of assigned students from one of Hult's five-degree programs or a combination of two programs. Every effort is made to align students with the advisor's areas of expertise. The CDA will also work with their global career development colleagues to ensure a consistent experience tailored to the local market.
Each year, global CDAs collaborate to create and deliver seminars and workshops in the area of local market opportunities, cross-cultural interviewing, and a variety of other topics that are of interest to the student population. The CDA will also partner with faculty, alumni, and student organizations and collaborate with Hult Corporate Relations staff on career related events and job market placement.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

- Attract guest speakers from a variety of industries
- Administer skill/interest assessments and share results with students
- Partner with faculty, alumni, and student organizations and collaborate with Hult Corporate Relations staff to enhance placement-related processes and policies.
- Maintain student career portal and class information, participate in gathering employment statistics
- Recommend additional workshops, tools, programs that may enhance the student experience across multiple industries
- Participate in cross-campus global projects and teams
- Partner with academic staff to support the student throughout the year
Desired Skills and Experience
- Passion for educating and supporting multi-cultural, international students
- High level of energy, creativity, positivity, innovative thinking and initiative is a must
- Outstanding organizational, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with multiple constituencies and influence others
- MBA is a plus
- Knowledge of professional development and career counseling practices
- Familiarity with corporate recruiting practices, hiring trends, and employment market channels
- Broad industry/management experience; knowledge of Master level career fields, job functions and industries, including finance, marketing, operations, and general management
- Familiarity with international business, and demonstrated sensitivity to cultural challenges and opportunities. Ideally has lived and worked in foreign countries
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
