Kleinfelder is currently seeking a Civil Engineer with progressive Roadway / Highway and Site Design experience to join our growing team. This position will be based in our Cambridge or Westborough MA offices.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess 5 to 8 years' experience in civil engineering and in particular, candidate will be strong in both roadway and storm water design.
Specific requirements include:
Experience with all aspects of roadway design, storm water management, utilities and utility coordination, development of construction documents, and construction support services.
Experience with roadway/highway designs for municipalities and State Departments of Transportation.
Must possess solid experience with highway and stormwater design/drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD) and capable of producing quality engineering designs and plans.
Must be self-motivated with good communication and organizational skills; eager to take on increasing challenges.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
BS in Civil Engineering is required. PE registration in Massachusetts is required or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
