The Cambridge, MA office is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team.
Ideal candidates for the Structural Engineer position will possess 1-5 years of experience in the engineering of medium to large Bridges, retaining walls industrial and/or commercial building structures, and be familiar with the use of steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, timber and masonry.
Responsibilities include:
Performing Calculations
Preparing Contract Drawings and Specifications
Estimating Costs
Reviewing Shop Drawings and Erection procedures, and
Performing Construction Administration duties
This opportunity requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree a plus. Working knowledge of standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AutoCAD is required, structural engineering applications software, is strongly preferred, such as Vertis, LARSA etc.
