    The high-resolution 3D maps of the electrical activity of the human heart provided by this system are used by physicians to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmia.
  • The Principal Signal Processing/Algorithm Development Engineer will have a leading role in the design and development of novel algorithms and tools for cutting edge medical applications in the field of Cardiac rhythm management.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop novel processing algorithms applied to biological signals, from concept and simulation to fully formed product
  • Drive system level enhancements for advanced 3D real-time tracking technology of many sensors in a noisy, stressed environment
  • Work with concept development teams to explore, model, and develop new algorithms and ideas for breakthrough mapping and automated sensing features
  • Effectively collaborate across disciplines (HW, Systems and Mech.
    ) to focus and maximize end-to-end solution value
  • Play an active role in the cross-functional/departmental effort of defining clinical feature value proposition
  • Provide technical leadership in algorithm development and best practices
  • Participate in design and execution of preclinical system experiments in the lab, with physicians, and 3rd parties

What we re looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent with at least 9 years of product development experience in a commercial environment.
    Fewer years of professional experience may be acceptable with doctorate degree in a relevant field.

  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in MATLAB/Python or equivalent for prototyping, modeling and analysis
  • Capability of anticipating and recognizing the potential problems of the designed and developed products
  • Excellent knowledge of Linear/Nonlinear real-time systems analyses (time/frequency, estimation & feedback models, digital filter design)
  • Prior experience with optimization and inverse problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science with Signal/Image processing or Algorithm/Method Development background
  • Experience with tracking and navigation algorithms and methods
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information in a clear and thorough manner
  • Familiarity with lab equipment (signal generator, oscilloscope, LabView, etc.
    )
  • Experience with C/C+
    or equivalent
