About the role:

In Rhythm Management (RM) we offer solutions for treating irregular heart rhythms and heart failure, and protecting against sudden cardiac arrest. In addition, we offer solutions with 3D Mapping and Navigation systems, Radiofrequency Ablation catheters, Diagnostic Catheters, EP recording systems, and Intracardiac Access Sheaths.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to become a member of a growing team that provides technical leadership within R&D and an interdisciplinary team.
This individual will work on a variety of sustaining and new projects from concept to commercialization and be responsible for solving engineering problems, designing components of the system, and supporting testing and troubleshooting of the system design.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, debug, modify, and test mixed signal electronic circuits and systems by using current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies.
  • Modify and improve existing programmable logic designs.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and verify, requirements, circuits, and systems by using engineering practices.
  • Solve engineering problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions.
  • Participate in the conception, architecture and development of next generation mapping and navigation system components and accessories boxes, including schematics, printed circuit board layout, and testing
  • Assist with industry-based standards testing for safety and EMC according to 60601-1
  • Document design, development, evaluation, and problem resolution. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.

What we re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSEE with a minimum two (2) years of experience or MSEE
  • Experience with FPGA products and HDL languages
  • Strong technical background with a desire to learn new technologies.
  • Strong communication and time management abilities.
  • Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment to debug and solve system level problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing mixed signal electrical circuits (including schematic capture and circuit board layout)
  • Experience designing electrical circuits for medical devices
  • Expertise in laboratory troubleshooting techniques, including proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and related equipment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
