The Amazon Corporate Security (ACS) team is searching for a Security Awareness and Events Coordinator for its Prototype Security team.
The Security Awareness and Events Coordinator is responsible for developing, deploying, and tracking the effectiveness of security initiatives focused on safeguarding intellectual property.
This role will be focused on bridging the gap between the prototype security team and the everyday employee in a development center environment.
The Security Awareness and Events Coordinator is also responsible for deep diving device loss/investigation data to identify actionable solutions that are implemented in a timely manner.
This role will handle the planning and execution of local level security events and directly reports to the Security Awareness Program Manager.
Key
Responsibilities:
Development, implementation and evaluation of high impact security initiatives to maintain Intellectual Property (IP) security Partner closely with engineers, investigations team, program managers, and other operational teams across Amazon and partner organizations to identify and document security issues that can be addressed by shared infrastructure and procedures Draft and publish Prototype Security requirements, guidelines, best practices and standards on team pages Work with local level stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and standardized materials are utilized by teams.
Play a critical role in the definition of projects you manage, driving priorities and goals and tracking progress on milestones and service deliverables, anticipating dependencies, driving decisions and detecting problems early to ensure successful execution Build relationships with teams to understand issues teams are facing which result in lack of security policy compliance Create and implement change management strategies and communications plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of security controls, and minimize resistance to new security solutions Travel to various sites to implement respective security awareness initiatives and events Manage the planning and hosting of local level events with targeted and thought out goals Provide thorough and detailed daily support of security e-learning platforms and trainings Develop and manage security campaigns consumable by diverse business, operations and engineering teams Measure and monitor the maturity level of established security programs and existing controls, including periodic assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
